ALLEA invites to the webinar ‘Who to trust on Covid-19? When science advice gets “dirty” in the political mud’. The one-hour debate, moderated by Dr Shane Bergin, will bring together leading experts on the question of trust in expertise. Maria Baghramian (UCD/RIA ), Bobby Duffy (King’s College London), Tracey Brown (Sense about Science), José van Dijck (University of Utrecht/KNAW) and Carlo Martini (Vita-Salute San Raffaele University) will shed light on the different strategies used to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic across Europe and their impact on trust in expertise.
